Abstract

Obese women who have greater increases in serum triglyceride levels after eating a meal high in fat, have a poorer profile of incretin-related gastrointestinal satiety, and insulin sensitivity and, consequently, changes in sensation and perception of hunger-satiety compared with women with smaller increments of serum triglycerides. This may promote excessive food intake and the maintenance or worsening of excess body weight, and difficult to reduce it.Moreover, it is also possible that women with reduced insulin sensitivity and / or lower serum levels of gastrointestinal incretins show changes in sensation and perception of hunger-satiety, which may encourage overeating. The study aims to analyze possible differences in anthropometric, dietary and body composition data in obese women classified according to the increase in triglyceride levels, after eating a meal high in fat.
