Abstract

This project aims the determination of physical parameters and chemical abundances for a sample of extended planetary nebulae in the Galaxy. It will have three complimentary parts: data reduction and analysis of observational data will be performed for those objects already observed, new data will be collected for other targets, and these results, combined with others from the literature, will be used as input parameters and observational constraints to the photoionization code "Cloudy" that will be used to build models the best sampled objects.
