The research focuses on Internship in Special Programs of teacher training which arise in the movement of universitarization teaching post LDBEN (1996) and are intended exclusively for in-service teachers. The research is part of the Thematic Project FAPESP "Special programs of teacher training, distance education and schooling: research on new models of in-service training" and chooses as empirical referent programs realized in the State of São Paulo/Brazil (PEC - Formação Universitária, Pedagogia Cidadã, PROESF) and also the course of Pedagogy offered by UNIVESP that initially the example of special programs, is directed to in-service teachers. The objective of this study is characterise the role that the Internship takes in teacher experienced training that, it is assumed, have already structured a habitus (Bourdieu, 2009 [1980]) linked to teaching. It is intended specifically identify the ways in which these internship are organized, which activities are offered, what place does the teaching experience of students in the programs, and which conceptions of internship offer them support. The study will be conducted under the qualitative approach, based on analysis of documents relating to selected programs, and semi-structured interviews conducted with several professionals, especially those most closely involved with the internship in these programs (tutors, mentors and course coordinators).
