This research aims to study how the spatial constructions are woven work in Pedro Páramo (1955) the Mexican writer Juan Rulfo (1917-1986). This study is not intended to address the space as a mere literary scenario in which the narrative takes place, approached the space as an inseparable whole that participate in a certain side arrangement of geographic objects, natural objects and social objects, and on the other, life that fills and animates them, ie, in this study there is no way to define the environment without considering its protagonists, so space is not only physical setting and / or populated geography related, is also able to image or metaphor make sense of the social experiences of the characters. So our object of study will be analyzed in a multifaceted way assuming aspects related to narrative structure and the construction of meaning effects within the literary work. The empirical material was the inspiration and starting point for this study was collected on trips to the Mexican Interior: Sayula, San Gabriel, and Apulco Tonaya. (AU)
