The present investigation aims to obtain knowledge on the secondary metabolism of two fungal strains, isolated from an ascidian, Didemnum ligulum. After strains growth in artificial media and obtation of the respective crude extracts, separation steps will be performed in order to isolate pure compounds to be identified using spectroscopic techniques. The biological activity of the isolated compounds will be evaluated in the same assays in which crude extracts presented activity.
