Abstract

This research project proposes study, with the assistance of emergetic analysis and referenced geographic information's system, the process of productive recovery of a degraded land of the "Sítio Duas Cachoeiras" (Amparo, SP); the goal is to fight the erosion process, and loss of springs, in order to recover the stocks and the environmental services. The study considers the proposal of reforestation made by the producer Guaracy Dinis which have how model the proposal of sustainable forestry use of H. T. Odum, M. T. Brown & D. Tilley and E. Gotsch. They have the following areas: natural forest area existing (seeds bank), cattle raising area with agrossilvipastoral systems (ASPS), annual crops area, deployment of agroforestal systems (AFS) and infrastructure area. The research considers which any land have a different potential of ecological and economical development and it need studies about the integrated harnessing of available resources to continue the recovery of land, hydric resources, biodiversity, and soil and tree cover. To contribute with the reforestation work will be make a preview of the system behavior through modeling and simulation of the sustainable management of the plant project. To value the system sustainability of studied system will be obtained, with the assistance of the producer and by public institutions, the following informations: (a) biomass produced; (b) macro nutrients variation (N, P & K) in the soil and in the litter; (c) carbon capture and sequestration; (d) local biodiversity increase; (e) variation of water stocks and flows; (f) social and economical benefits. Expected, then, contribute to the knowlodge of forestry recovery and discuss it economical viability. (AU)
