Abstract

This project goal is studying the effects of theaddition of Organoclay into Polyamide-6 obtained by in situ polymerization in an experimental polymerization Unit.The study involves the polimeryzation of Polyamide-6 and the nanocomposite Polyamide-6/organoclay, using e-caprolactam as the monomer.After the synthesissynthesis, the properties of the resulting polymers will be characterized and the possible differences between the Polyamide-6 and the Polyamide-6/organoclay nanocomposite will be analyzed.
