Abstract This work deals with the synthesis, spectroscopic characterization and biological assays of metal complexes with rimantadine. The ligand is used as an antiviral agents against Influenza A virus. The complexes will be synthesized under aqueous and/or ethanolic solutions, characterized by a set of chemical and spectroscopic analysis, with emphasis on 1H, 13C and 15 NMR spectroscopic measurements, and evaluated as potential antiviral and antitumor agents. | |
