Abstract

The initial purpose of this research is to analyze the supply of health services and actions for the prevention and diagnosis of tuberculosis in people living with AIDS followed in an ambulatory care network belonging to the HIV/AIDS in the municipality of Ribeirao Preto. It is a study of quantitative approach, a cross-sectional survey of the kind. The population consists of people diagnosed with AIDS, who attend an outpatient district of reference for the treatment of this disease. Data collection will be conducted through interviews with the support of a structured questionnaire comprising 58 questions divided into three sections: I - Data on socio-demographics II - General information on the monitoring of cases; III - Data on the supply and integration of actions and health services. Respondents answer each question of the second questionnaire scale with varied responses as dichotomous, multiple choice single answer and a Likert scale, which will be assigned a value between "one" and "five," where the better response you will receive the most value top of the range and the worst will receive the lowest. Data analysis will be performed through the construction of indicators, based on the variables selected for the study. The indicator set will correspond to the mean value obtained by the sum of all responses of all respondents to each question on the questionnaire and divided by the total respondents. An indicator will be determined for the total overview of these dimensions, using the average of the answers to all questions pertaining to each dimension of the study. Values close to 1 and 2 will be the classification stipulated supply/ non-satisfactory integration, close to 3, regulate, and around 4 and 5 satisfactory.(AU)
