Abstract A beautiful equivalence at tree level between the minimal and non-minimal pure spinor formalisms was discovered in a new paper published recently by O. Bedoya and the beneficiary H. Gomez. One of our goals is to extend this work to the higher loop level. This will be very useful for computing scattering amplitudes at higher loops. Our other aim is to show, using a (0,2) nonlinear sigma model on the pure spinor space, that the pure spinor formalism is a topological theory and in this manner find its origin. In particular, this would be very useful in the computation of the scattering amplitudes in AdS. | |
