Abstract

The overall objective of the research is to understand and justify theoretically the use of Internet in the construction of cultural activities at a distance, aiming to create hybrid sites, combining instances physical and virtual. To this end, it is specifically the use of the Internet from its features and capabilities of networking communications and remote collaborative processes, and procedures related to cultural production of musical events, and in particular, promoted by the Circuit Off Axis. This research falls within the context of Nomads.usp the research, the Center for the Study of Interactive dwell, the Institute of Architecture and Urbanism, University of São Paulo, and is linked to intended actions in the thematic Sound public policy project of the Territories-Hybrids: digital media, community and cultural activities, funded by FAPESP (Process 09/51457-5, coordinated by Prof. Dr. Marcelo Tramontano), which aims to collective construction of spatiality hybrid -combining the real and virtual instances - in urban areas through cultural activities.
