Abstract

This work has as objective thinking through the actual political and economic moment, the way as PRONAF has been implemented, while a rural credit program linked to territorial development policies implemented by MDA(Ministério do Desenvolvimento Agrário) and what economic impacts in the peasantry social reproduction, having as referential the case of municipality of Sapé, in Paraíba. That research will utilize like method the dialectical materialism, having four articuled moments: a)in a first moment we will do a large bibliographic revision about the thematic and concernents themes; b) in a second moment we will do a reflection and discussion of the books chosen to this research, searching improving our comprehension about theoretical-conceptual questions; c)in a third moment we will do a survey of quantitative data based in the "Censo Agropecuário" made by IBGE and in "Pesquisas Pecuárias Municipais" and "Produções Agrícolas Municipais"; d) in a fourth moment we will do the field research, in it we will be do interviews with representatives of entities, organs and social movements that act in the agrarian space and with peasant families.
