Abstract

Our project is guided in a debate about economic restructuring, particularly within the industry and its repercussions on the spatial structure of the State of São Paulo, and the dialogue established between the dynamic and state agents responsible for the management of public space in São Paulo. A case study of the relocation of the Alpha Metallurgical attempt to illustrate the problem.We intend to participate in discussions that fall under the weight of the techniques of differential diffusion on the territory, positioning us to consider this fact as much as cause and induce the differentiation of industrial production arrangement observed between the subspaces of the state of São Paulo. These techniques, increasingly targeted with an accuracy and a more precise intention, materialize and are structured within a selective manner, even in patterns investigated in this research, stimulates the heterogeneity of the whole space of São Paulo.In this context, we seek to counter the dualism pervaded the discussion that opposes capital / interior, assuming each of these two homogeneous subspaces. We intend to investigate, as well as collaborate, to understand the complexity of this dynamic in space and are engendered by a strong economic dynamism, this discussion is pertinent when we consider an objective debate on the restructuring issue.
