Abstract

Disorder of learning is a generic term that refers to a heterogeneous group of changes manifest in significant difficulties in the acquisition and use of listening, speaking, reading, writing, reasoning or mathematical abilities. These changes are intrinsic to the individual, presumably due to central nervous system dysfunction that leads to academic performance below expectations for the intellectual, educational and motivating. (Salgado 2006) and Nutt (2009).One factor that may be associated with school failure of students with learning disorders is the child stress, this being defined as a set of reactions we get when something happens that frightens us, annoys us, makes us extremely excited or happy. "The factors that could cause this stress in childhood may be external and internal, and here we highlight the school as an institution that is directly influences children. Together with the high stress the child may have serious learning difficulties, thus generating a failure in learning school. PANCANARO and Santos (2007).For the study, the type of sampling was not probabilistic, for trial, since the participant selection criteria followed by the researcher, that is, should present a multidisciplinary diagnosis of learning disorder or fails to learning difficulties, according to the group, in order to analyze the level of stress through the test of Child Stress Scale (2008).Therefore, it is important that this research has as main objective the implementation of a protocol in order to check the level of stress in children with learning disorders diagnosed using the Clinical School, FOB / USP.(AU)
