Abstract

Cedrinho wood is important in Brazil because of the planted area. The waste generated by manufacturing will be important for the country's industrial park. Still, you must use new materials fibrous lignocellulosic according to consumption in the world. In relation to wood, bamboo is growing faster than higher productivity. The focus of the work is to produce and evaluate the physical and mechanical characteristics of particleboard of Cedrinho and Bamboo. The physical and mechanical properties of the particleboards would be evaluated through the standardized tests (NBR 14.810): the water absorption coefficient, moisture content, density, resistance to bending and parallel traction to fibers and determine the internal cohesive bond strength of particle panels.
