Abstract

The project involves the detection and analysis of small streams, and narrow lines in the drainage system, which, due to the urban expansion, no longer are part of the city landscape. Whether for reasons of sanitation works or street expansions, such streamlets are not present directly in the consciousness and, in most cases, in the memory of the citizens. However, the hidden existence of numerous streamlets is manifested on the surface in the form of lanes, alleys, stairwells, open public areas, or insurgency of water on the streets. The most diverse urban solutions adopted in accordance with urbanistic standards of each period are attestant to the persistence of natural elements of the local landscape, even highly anthropized.(AU)
