Abstract

The family Myrtaceae is one of the most abundant in the Cerrado biome, in your group of plants for medicinal use. The gabiroba (Campomanesia pubescens) isused to treat gastrointestinal and kidney ailments, and its fruit has antimicrobial activity against some Gram-positive and Gram-negative. The interior of the plantis colonized by organisms non-pathogenic microorganisms to the plant itself, withknown endophytic and often can produce substances that help fight invading microorganisms of potential harm to the specimen plant. In other situations may favor or hinder plant growth. Our objectives are to isolate and characterizeendophytic microorganisms Campomanesia pubescens and evaluate theirantimicrobial activity against some fungi and bacteria of importance in public health or agriculture. There will also be testing the activity of seed germination of lettuce, onion and some plants considered invasive.(AU)
