Abstract The in vitro embryo production in Brazil, occupies a prominent place among the biotechnology of animal reproduction and the current challenge is to be increasingly accessible to producers, so that it is fundamental closer to the results of production and survival of embryos produced in vitro those developed naturally. Much of this variation of the potential for embryo development is related to characteristics of maternally inherited oocyte, which requires an adequate maturity to acquire the potential to develop to the blastocyst stage. So there is a possibility that that capacity is related to the lipid profile of follicular fluid. Thus, this project aims at assessing the correlation of the development potential of oocytes with the content of the lipid profile in follicular fluid, based on individual farming system and retrospective analysis of this liquid. The ions coming from the study of the follicular fluid lipid profile will be assessed against the potential of the oocyte that was contained. However, there is so far a detailed characterization of the environment this follicular oocytes are exposed. An important and often overlooked are the fluid lipids. | |
