Abstract

Dogs show several genetic diseases similar to humans, therefore, became an ideal model for the development of stem cell research. Studies on the semen collection showed limitations in this technique, so we developed the technique of spermatogonial transplantation as a new treatment strategy for male infertility. Therefore, this proposal aims to production viable sperm genetically modified technique after xenotransplantation of spermatogonia in the testes of Swiss nude mice (Ncr nu/nu), and analyzed in this way the efficiency of spermatogenesis after transplantation.
