Abstract

This project aims to research the changes in the railway complex in the city of Campo Grande - MS, based on a city development analysis associated with the arrival of Noroeste do Brasil - NOB, as part of a process of capitalist expansion and countryside modernization, understanding its urbanization as a result of this. In a second step, this project intends to analyze the railroad as a collective and urban memory reference, working as "resistance" in the process of valuing heritage. Finally, this project seeks to understand the railway heritage while anchor in the process of valorization of the cities, as part of a system of capitalism "restructuring" in the contemporaneity.
