Abstract

The aim to do trainee in Laboratoire COSTEL - Climat et Occupation du Sol par Télédétection, Université Rennes 2 is characterize the mean space-temporal effects of Pacific Decadal Oscillation - ODP in rainfall variability and extreme events in Paraná State - Brazil (1947 to 2010) through cartographic and graphic representation. The research development will be in phase about practical-applied and theoretical- methodological order. The phases will be realized concomitantly and supervised way, following an evaluation of procedures, techniques, approaches and activities that fits in objectives and contexts of regular research in Brazil. That knowledge will give more interpretation possibilities about rainfall space-temporal model, extreme climate events and this correlation with interannual and multidecadal variability modes, perspectives presented in regular research.
