Abstract

This research project is being developed under the research program "The history of teaching in institutions of teacher education in Brazil - 1827-2011", which will run the project with the same name, which will main goal is to identify, gather, select, organize, analyze and interpret aspects of teaching as a discipline and field of knowledge in teacher training institutions in Brazil between 1827 and 2011. In this sense, this project has the general objective to locate, identify, gather, select and analyze aspects of teaching as a discipline of the Normal School Free "Sacred heart of Jesus" Marilia-SP, which, under that name, developed the activities between 1944 and 1977.This language originated from the belief that research seeking to systematize and analyze aspects of the history of the disciplines in various teacher training institutions in Brazil contributed to a history of these disciplines in Brazil for a history of teacher training in Brazil and in limit, contribute to a history of education in Brazil. Considering that this was an important moment of teacher training in Brazil, when it was felt the strong influence of the Catholic institution in the education sector, the city of Marilia found himself confronted with the necessity of having a faith school to meet the high São Paulo, consistent with the agricultural prosperity of the young city. This is a research project that is believed will allow the young researcher greater commitment to research activities, enabling you to improve your training in graduate and is also a preparation for graduate school. Hence the formulation of this research project for undergraduate research, documentation, the sources, and historical approach. The method of analysis will be the "aspects of text setting," according to Magnani (1993, 1997) / Mortatti (2000), based on the procedures for locating, identifying, gathering, selecting, ordering and analyzing the corpus of documents.
