Abstract

This research intends to make an analytical catalog of the whole work of Eugenio Hirsch, whose main production occurred between the years 1959 to 1964. The research should happen in two steps: identification and collection of the works, followed by cataloging and analyzing them. We are convinced that this first data collection is an opportunity to expand the research on Eugenio's work. Through a comparison between the historical moment considered by the catalog (1959-64), and his previous years in Argentina and later in Spain, USA, and in Brazil itself, it would be possible to analyze the artist's production throughout his life. We also believe that the organization of his work allows us to determine what dialogues the artist established with the artistic movements of his time and his own development in publishing art.(AU)
