Abstract

This study aims to analyze the association between long latency auditory evoked potential and variability of heart rate in healthy subjects were female aged between 18 and 25 years, selected from the Faculty of Sciences of UNESP-Marilia. As procedure will be held the examination Long Latency Auditory Evoked Potential and analysis of heart rate during the examination of long latency auditory evoked potential and at rest. It is hoped with this study obtain physiological responses involved in the relationship between central auditory pathways and cardiac autonomic control to develop future therapies with the goal to prevent disturbances of the cardiovascular system. Besides of opening a gap for investigate the relationship between the auditory and cardiovascular systems. It is understood therefore the importance of investigating the association of cardiac autonomic control with the electrical activity that occurs in the central and peripheral auditory systems. (AU)
