Abstract

This is a project carried out to analyze the insertion of the psychologist working with children in public health services, from the point of view of his/her professional performance - theoretical option and psychological practices within such a context. From that general aim, one tries to understand the demand managed by psychologist subjects and their performance among that population and the Basic Health Unit team. That approach has an exploratory character and is based on the inter-subjective paradigm, based on which one intends to interview five psychologists working with child psychology in county health services within a town located in São Paulo State mid-western region. Such interviews were fully transcribed and their outcomes will be organized into categories meant for analysis and, if possible, into tables for a better visualization and for a later comparative analysis of the data collected in it, pursuing the aim of answering the purpose of the research at issue.
