Abstract

This study will be comparing the differential protein expression in acquired pellicule formed in situ, at different times (10 minutes and 2 hours) on the enamel and the dentin. The samples were divided into two groups: "pool" (9 samples of subjects) and group individuals (samples from each of the 9 volunteers). The subjects were device mandibular in the oral cavity for film formation obtained, the blocks were removed and the film was removed with a filter paper soaked in 3% citric acid. After protein extraction, the same will be submitted to fractionation by ion exchange chromatography. The collected fractions are concentrated and subjected to reverse phase liquid chromatography interfaced with mass spectrometry (LC-ESI-MS/MS). The data obtained from MS / MS will be processed and submitted jointly to the program SQUEST (Bioworks Browser 3.2, Thermo-Finnigan, San Jose, CA, USA). The searches will be conducted using the databases SWISS-PROT and TrEMBL. (AU)
