Abstract

This study will to analyze the changes in the protein profile obtained in pellicule adquired formed in situ, at different times (10 and 120 minutes) on the enamel and the dentin after exposure to both types of acid: citric acid (1%, pH 2.5) and lactic (0.1 M pH 4.8). The volunteers used a device mandibular containing the blocks and experiments were performed on four consecutive days. After formation pellicule adquired obtained, the blocks were immersed in citric acid, lactic acid and deionized water. Further, the pellicule adquired was removed with a filter paper soaked in 3% citric acid. Samples from each group will be analyzed individually (first three days) and together ("pool" - analysis of variability) for each substrate type and time of collection.After protein extraction, the same will be concentrated and subjected to reverse phase liquid chromatography interfaced with mass spectrometry (LC-ESI-MS/MS). The data obtained from MS / MS will be processed and submitted jointly to the program SQUEST (Bioworks Browser 3.2, Thermo-Finnigan, San Jose, CA, USA). The searches will be conducted using the databases SWISS-PROT and TrEMBL. (AU)
