Abstract

Our interest in doing a research internship abroad comes from the time of graduation, passing through the master's and reaching into the Ph.D. The obtaining of the scholarship granted by FAPESP Agency allowed the exclusive dedication to research, giving more time for realization of the same and finalizing any doubts for the realization of the internship future abroad. With the scholarship was possible to disclose parts of our Ph.D. research in progress, both in national and international events. The participation in scientific events enabled us to meet new researchers in the field of Climatology and Physical Geography, as in the case of the Professor Doctor Simona Fratianni, of the Dipartimento di Scienze della Terra and located at the Università degli Studi of Turin, Italy. The teacher Fratianni will be the supervisor of the internship abroad and has extensive experience in climatology, having already published several scientific articles, including in partnership with Professor João Afonso Zavattini, who is our guiding of Ph.D. research. The exchanges of experiences between the two teachers resulted from the half of 2011, in an agreement between Università degli Studi di Torino (Dipartimento di Scienze della Terra) and Universidade Estadual Paulista - IGCE - Campus of Rio Claro. In this way, opened the doors so there is greater interaction and cooperation between the Unito and to UNESP, giving me more chances to carry out research internship abroad. The realization of the internship abroad will contribute greatly in the finalization of our Ph.D. research, as well as in our academic formation, scientific and professional, enabling difusion of the knowledge climatological between Italy and Brazil.
