This study will evaluate the mechanical properties (elastic modulus and hardness) of the resin cements and underlying dentin after the bonding of customized fiberglass to different thirds the intra-root dentin as well as measure the push-out bond strength between customized fiberglass post to different thirds the intra-root dentin before and after mechanical cycling. Single root pre-molars will be subjected to endodontic treatments, and the samples will be divided into four groups (n=10) according to the type of intra-root retainer used (customized and non-customized fiberglass posts) and aging (with or without mechanical cycling, totaling 500.000 cycles). The roots will be sectioned in slices of approximately 1.3mm (cervical, middle and apical regions) and submitted to the measurements of hardness, elastic modulus and push-out bond strength test in different regions. After bond strength test specimens will be evaluate by scanning electron microscopy to characterize the dentin structure. Data of bond strength and mechanical proprieties will be subjected to normality and statistical tests to comparison of means values (± = 0.05).
