Abstract

This project aims to assess the variation of the shape, size, quantity, spatial distribution and degree of preservation of fossils along the Concheiros beach, Rio Grande do Sul; evaluate taphonomic aspects from the length, width and height (X, Y, Z) according to the model of Dürr (1994) of the fossils collected in December 2008, December 2009, May 2010, December 2010; evaluate the variation between the dunes and the foreshore fossils in the collection station CO6. The fossils will be measured with a digital caliper rule, evaluated in Excel 2007 program and classified by the literature and consultation in reference collections. (AU)
