Abstract

In the present study, it is considered to study the potential use of waste furniture industry, in order to add value to these by means of hybrid panel manufacturing wood particles reinforced with sisal fibers at a ratio of (25%, 50% and 75%) in the mass of wood particles. To manufacture the panels particulates will be used bi-component polyurethane resin based on castor oil and physico-mechanical assessment will be based on the requirements of normative documents NBR 14.810:2006. There will also be testing the conductivity based on the requirements of normative documents NBR 15.220:2005. The panel best performing physical-mechanical and thermal lining will be applied as hutch and environmental analysis will be conducted. (AU)
