Abstract

This research project is a result of our belief that the man has organic, biological and physiological needs, but how man satisfies these needs depends on the culture and heritage which he belongs. Therefore, man needs to learn the skills he can develop because he is not born with these skills, as well personality and ready intelligence. These features make him different from the irrational animals, which are born with instincts and predetermined skills. As for humans it is required to be given conditions, especially in educational processes, it is necessary for them to be shown aspects of their culture, so it can be a process of appropriation. We present in this paper results from the development of the research project that aims to identify as general targets the selection and analysis of aspects about teacher training on working with children's folklore. The privileged corpus analysis intends to be the political-pedagogical projects of the College of Education, College of Science and Philosophy - FFC - UNESP - Campus de Marilia. This concern arises from the fact that we believe that the political-pedagogical projects highlight aspects of the identity in a course and thus reveal aspects about the future teacher who will constitute our society. We have sought to base the research on the concept of culture, then folklore is closely linked to tradition and culture. Also, we try to analyze legal aspects about the insertion of the themes and content of Brazilian culture when teaching children and, as a result, children's folklore. (AU)
