Abstract

The following proposal for the Research Internship Abroad Fellowship is inserted in the context of the National Institute of Science and Technology (INCT) in Bioanalytics and of the SISBIOTA ("Bioprospecção de fungos sapróbios isolados no PPBIO/semiárido nordestino para o controle de doenças infecciosas em plantas") and FAPESP ("Aplicações de cromatografia gasosa bidimensional abrangente na pesquisa de biomarcadores de resistência a patógenos em vegetais") through the development of novel stationary phases and sorbent materials based on room temperature ionic liquids (RTIL). Here is proposed the molecular design and synthesis of novel materials, which will be explored as stationary phases in the several modalities of Gas Chromatography (Conventional and Multidimensional). Additionally, its applicability as sorbent material in Solid-phase Microextraction devices will also be evaluated. These phases will be evaluated in applications similar to theme of the doctorial thesis of the proponent, in order to enhance the characterization of the metabolic profile of plants and its relation to the resistance of phytopathogens.
