Abstract

One of the major challenges in the field of Neurolinguistics is concerning methodology, since it influences the approach to the phenomena and the formulations of hypotheses, as well as the therapy with subjects and the scope for the analysis of the results. Thus, it is essential a consistency between the method chosen to develop the research and the theoretical principles that guide it. The most coherent option to the socio-cultural-historical approach, on what we are grounded, is the qualitative research. Considering the qualitative research in the Human Sciences, the most recurrent are those based on the evidential and the microgenetic paradigms, which are also mobilized in the field of the discoursive-enunciative Neurolinguistics, despite being mistakenly considered as synonyms sometimes. This project aims to: (i) investigate aspects related to the terminology - microgenetic and evidential - (from where the terms come, how they were coined historically, in which contexts they are mobilized); (ii) to discuss critically the points of convergence (or not) between them; and (iii) to analyze, according to the theoretical assumptions and specificities, which of these paradigms prove to be more compatible with the theories that base the research in the discursive-enunciative Neurolinguistics. Regarding the methodological aspects of this research, I highlight the bibliographic research, which is carried out by keywords: microgenetic, microgenesis, evidential, Ginzburg, method, and others that might be identified during the research.
