Abstract This research has as subject investigation the Mathematic Education. How question in the profound, we aims to understand "What it has being, the Mathematic Education (EM) in Brasil?". This way, we interrogate the Mathematic Education with the question: " What the researches, in Brazil, in Mathematics Education tell in the Mathematics Education? The objective is the to search understand the meant in the Mathematic Education in its different manners to materialize in speechs of the researchers act in the Brazil, focusing that investigation area and having for aim to outline its style.To constitute the datas, we select the researchers quotes in the III SIPEM, given the research made with the works presented in this seminar. The offer is to tell about "what is there" i.e, the Mathematic Education, according to what it is explicited and and not of theories the told about what it is, being, therefore, assumed an attitude phenomenological. The analysis of datas will go by two moments the Ideographed and the Nomothetic. In the first they are explicated the Units of Signified (US) according to the significant subject's speech, constituited to the light of the interrogation. In the second we search to group the US, searching its convergences. In This moment from individual to get general, constituiting the Invariants or Nucleus of significant; what they told of the Mathematic Education, about how it has being and indicating lines that move forward in its "to become it". As resulted, the research intent to show which are the current tendencies of research; what is the understand of the researchers about what is been the Mathematics Education; and to reflect about is field of questionament elaborating a meta-understanding of investigated.
