Abstract

The aim of this research in Russian is to finish the translation of the book "Marxism and the philosophy of language."(MPL) directly from the Russian and pick up material in libraries, archives and in interviews with professors, in the purpose to write an introduction to the translation, where it will be analyzed the historical context and the Russian language theorits with whom the author dialogues in the book, besides the elaboration of explicative notes and index, on the base of our recent experience in the translation of "The formal method in literary scholarship. A critical introduction to sociological poetics" (Contexto, 2012). The importance of the research is the presence of the book among Brazilians linguists and that in Brazil there is not a translation directly form the Russian, besides we do not know he majority of the language theorists citated in the work. We intend to contribute to a deeper comprehension of the sociological method elaborated in the end of the 1920s by the Bakhtin's Circle and its consequences to the Bakhtin’s works 1930-70. (AU)
