Abstract

This project proposes to investigate the philosophical origins that gave the theoretical and methodological foundation for the Dialogic theory of discourse of Mikhail Bakhtin. The focus will be mainly on philosophical and ethical questions raised from the neo-Kantian thinkers from the University of Marburg as Hermann Cohen, Paul Nartop, Ernst Cassirer and the Russian philosopher Matvei I. Kagan, one of the leaders of the Kantian Seminar of Nevel (1918-1920). Thus, the Groupe Paideia, from the University of Paris 8, already approved my request for a postdoc and I count on the decided supervision of the Bakhtinian researcher Marilia Santos Amorim, professor of that institution.Considering the set of philosophical texts produced by Bakhtin in the early 1920s, my purpose is to pursue a critical and productive dialogue with these philosophers built throughout their works. Two aspects will be considered: 1) the deepening on the concepts of architectonics, ethics, world culture and dialogical relations, developed by M. Bakhtin (1919, 1920, 1921, 1924, 1930-1934); 2) the search of the dominant reasons on studies produced by the philosophers of language, in order to define the specifics of the scientific production, proposal developed by Amorim (2006, 2007, 2010, 2011, 2013). From a practical standpoint, there will be considered the principles of an ethical philosophy of language applicable to the teaching-learning of Portuguese language, particularly in textbooks produced in France for students of higher education in order to provide the basis for an analysis that can outline a semiological and discursive approach of the postmodern culture.Methodologically, from a documentary base that was collected, the analysis uses the dialogical method, comprising three stages: (a) the alter dimension, in which the researcher participates responsibly in the data collection; (b) the dialectical tension established between the researcher and the materials listed; (c) the responsiveness, observable between different materials of the same historical period and other periods. The main objective of this project is to deepen the concept of "architectonics" in order to elucidate the presence of the multiculturalism in Portuguese language teaching materials circulating in the French higher education.
