Abstract This research intends to contribute to the discussions about how digital mobile technologies, as mobile phones, tablets, notebooks etc influenced the way people listen to music. Through an exploratory process and a profound analysis of the collected bibliography, we intend to comprehend the way society has changed its habits of listening. But the path to reach mobile media goes through the contextualization about the importance of sonority to create bonds between individuals and the different ways of listening music influenced by the media where it is transmitted - if primary, secondary or tertiary, respecting the classification of Harry Pross. Using this contextualization, where is included, also, mobile media as part of a convergence between many other media - what, even alone, can cause a change in the habits of society - will be possible to analyze how the habit of listening to music has been changed and influenced by the moment we are living. | |
