Abstract

This project aims to develop the geomorphological map of the city of Estrela do Norte-SP, because until now it was not accomplished a geomorphological map at the scale of urban and regional planning (1:25.000), involving the major geomorphological features present both in urban and rural areas of the county in question. For its preparation technique will be used to refund 3D-images through the ALOS / PRISM region of the Estrela do Norte-SP, using digital methods aerophotogrammetric that has been developed in conjunction with faculty from the Department of Cartography of FCT-UNESP. Understanding the importance that this document has to municipal planning, their lack creates a gap in the management of natural resources and the understanding of the processes of occupation by the society of different forms of relief. Thus, this research project will provide the basis for directing research both in the academic disciplines, as well as the local public administration (municipal and public agency). (AU)
