Abstract

The aim of this research is to understand the circulation of the pedagogic ideas in Brazil 1900-1930 using the works of Orestes Guimarães, Carlos da Silveira, Cesar Pietro Martinez and José Scaramelli. These authors were the pioneers working with New School educational ideas and understand how they appropriate those ideas is an objective to this research project. The methodology is based on Saviani theoretical principles.
