Abstract

Among the different urban environmental problems, the urban climate has aroused the interest of the scientific community, once it directly influences the everyday lifethe city by increasing the temperature, the decrease in relative humidity,concentration of precipitation and air pollution. The main objective of this subproject is to understand the theoretical-methodological procedures of climate analysis developed in the laboratory GEOCLIMA of the Universidad Autónoma of Madrid/Espanha, in particular, analytical techniques for urban climate and among them the remote sensing, with the aim of contributing to the improvement of doctoral thesis developed in Brazil entitled "The Urban climate of interior cities of the state of São Paulo: an analysis of the thermal field of Assis, Candido Mota, Maracaí and Tarumã".
