Abstract

The aim of the research internship at Departament de Geografia i Sociologia, Universitat de Lleida, Catalunya, Spain, is undertaking a research which evidences how the Spanish state organizes its circulation system, more specifically their transport matrix considering its inclusion in the European Union context. To this end it will be necessary to understand how is the distribution of the total transported by type of modal, how the process of privatization and concession of transport infrastructure in the country has occurred and which were the results in the territory caused by the organization of the transport system. With the completion of this internship in Spain it will be possible, in addition to getting to know and investigating the ordering of the Spanish spatial transport system, understand and increase subsidies to understand the ordering in Brazil supported on an external view, without disregarding the Brazilian reality. The internship will also be important for comprehending the methodologies used by Spanish researchers, which may contribute to the continuation of the regular research in Brazil. (AU)
