Abstract This project stems from two researches about Paschoal Lemme developed during the the degree course of the candidate, both with scholarship PIBIC/USP/CNPq and linked to the Rhetoric and Argumentation Pedagogy Research Group (USP/CNPq). The results of those researches allowed discussing the value of narratives memorialistics, in order to design the continuity of the research by examining the same sources by means of new theoretical and methodological perspective, the rhetorical analysis. This project aims Lemme's memorialistic discourse focusing his philosophical, political and educational ideas, in order to identify its central arguments and argumentative strategies and placing its persuasive intent in the context of its publication. To this end, we will study Lemme's memories, as well bibliographic sources about rhetorical analysis and the context of the preparation and publication of such memories. The studies will enable reflections on the relationship between Paschoal Lemme and the readers of his works. The conclusions will aim to discuss the positions of the author regarding the mobilization of educators in educational and political context of the 1980s. | |
