Abstract

Considering the urban center as the place of residence of the majority population in the world and all the relationships in it, the city became the largest expression of human transformation. From this observation, and understanding the climate as an aspect to be considered in the structuring of urban space, this research has as main objective the diagnosis of hygrometric and thermal anomalies in intra urban space of Paranavaí, with a detailed scale, beyond the identification of the influence by different land uses and occupations over time in the city. The climate elements data will be collected through the technique "transceto noturno" that consists on record of air temperature in intra urban place and in rural areas surrounding the city. This data will be recorded compiled images from Landsat 5 and Landsat 7 and treated it in Idrisi software. This process will assist in identifying temporal changes in the urbans attributes in Paranavaí. Therefore, the results obtained from this study may help understand climate urban in Paranavaí, plus possible support spatial planning policies in order to contribute to the improvement of environmental quality.
