Abstract

The new information and communication technologies have been widely spread and used in association with health related aspects. Considering health policy present in the country, these technologies can assist in health promotion and prevention along with health education and public policy actions. The increase in life expectancy is a global reality, making the Estate intervention necessary in this situation, from this context was created the national health policy of the elderly. Consequently health professionals must adapt to the guidelines of this policy, one of the professionals being the speech, language and hearing scientist. The aging process includes all the specificities of speech, language and hearing science, thus, this research aims to develop content that will be made available in a website, with information about the aging process and major changes in speech, language and hearing that affect the elderly. The production of the material will be according to analysis and planning, modeling, implementation and evaluation. Evaluation of the content and technological resources will be performed by speech, language and hearing scientists, elderly caregivers and elder commuity, through a form available on the website. Thus, it is expected to provide information to the general population and to promote improved quality of life in the population. (AU)
