Abstract

This project aims at employing the theory of texture synthesis for information visualization. Already well stablished in Computer Graphics as a resource to add details to scenes and objects, texture synthesis has not been deeply exploited in the context of information visualization. This project aims at adapting recent advances in texture synthesis towards summarizing and explore big data. Among the target innovations we point out the visualization of music data with scalability to portable devices.
