Abstract

The purpose of this research consists in circumscribing the ambit referent to the concept of will inside of subjective spirits, such as it presents itself in the Encyclopaedia of philosophical sciences. Seeking to comprehend the specific formation and the inner development of the will, it is about thinking about the process by which the will comes near to a kind of objectivities in which it would have to materialize its acts in the world. The focus of this work resides, hence, less in the analysis of isolated notions (such as practical feeling, inclinations, choice, happiness), and more in the attempt of following the dialectical movement of the will, that is, above all, to apprehend the passages that prepare the developments and make necessary the entrance of the spirit in that sphere of the effectivities (legal, ethical, religious and "scientific") that Hegel presented as Sittlichkeit.
