Abstract

In general, this project deals with the theoretical and experimental study of nucleate boiling on nanostructured surfaces. This research involves the design of an experimental apparatus and the results analysis. The aim of this study is to analyze the influence of nanostructured surfaces and the gap size on heat transfer coefficient and critical heat flux, based on the experimental data collected, by the advisor of this research project, during her master's, doctoral and post-doctoral.
