Abstract

Among the projects of specialized products, such as eyeglasses, it is observed that the inclusion of knowledge and other parameters are needed in design methodologies often used as a bibliographic reference for under graduation courses in Design. These methods have in common that the breadth and generality of themes and procedures, its applicability to various types of products, failing to provide specifics for a particular artifact. Among the wearers, the children requires special attention. This research therefore aims to take focus considering it as user and potential center for the study of guidelines suitable and most relevant to projects frames. This research aims to contribute to raising generate and indicate parameters specific to the product design eyeglasses for children. The study will be developed through research bibliography, iconography, and collecting qualitative and quantitative data, using observation techniques of use, interviews and questionnaires. Finally, in order to evaluate and test the results will be a case study. All data will be arranged so that they can be related, confronted and analyzed as each step is completed, and the compilation of these data will result in the final conclusion. It is believed that with the development of this research focused on the needs of children use, the designer can help to develop more appropriate projects that provide wellness, comfort and attractiveness for these users.
