Abstract

Decree No. 5626 (BRAZIL, 2005) which regulates Law No. 10,436 (BRAZIL, 2002), comes to the deaf ensure the use of Brazilian Sign Language (Libras). This document dealt with, among other items, the inclusion of the discipline of pounds in pedagogy courses, undergraduate and speech therapy. Based on the provisions of this legislation, this study aims to investigate the integration of the discipline of pounds in the curriculum of courses in pedagogy of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) both public and private state of São Paulo, offered in the classroom as well as the contents of this type of language discussed in this discipline. Initially a survey will be conducted in the MEC site, to identify the IES of São Paulo to offer the course in pedagogy in the classroom. Subsequently, online consultation will be held, along with the coordinators of these courses for submission of curricula and programs of (s) subject (s) that include content on the pounds. Data analysis will include the development of themes, and the use of quantitative data in situations that may be relevant.
